The goals of this task group are to:
1. Distribute Information for residents about the Chiquita Canyon Landfill oversight etc.
2. Provide a forum for community input
3. To support our representatives and residents for stronger advocacy
4. Develop various strategies for representatives and residents to participate in associated processes

These meetings are for local residents only and organized by local residents representing our community. At these meetings we distribute current information as well as hear from the community about any issues they may be experiencing regarding the landfill and ways we can support and advocate for each other.

GET A FREE AIR FILTER OR REPLACEMENT FILTERS
If you live in Hasley Canyon, Hasley Hills, Hillcrest, Live Oak, North Bluff, Williams Ranch or Val Verde and still require an air filter, please CLICK HERE and the landfill staff will contact you to schedule a pick-up.
If you are a senior or physically unable to pick up the air filtration devices, they will schedule a drop off appointment.
Residents who live in communities surrounding the Landfill may pick up air filters and filter replacements at the Castaic Library during normal business hours. The Library is located at 27971 Sloan Canyon Rd, Castaic, CA 91384.
